Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Ring Cleared by FCC with Upgraded Battery Specs
The FCC has cleared Samsung’s future Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Ring devices. We are now aware of their battery capacity thanks to this procedure.
Naturally, the Flip6 will have two cells—one on each side—with a total capacity of 3,790 mAh. This will be sold with a normal capacity of 3,800, 3,850, or even 3,900 mAh. Any of those figures will be an improvement over the 3,700 mAh capacity of the Flip5, but not a significant one.
Because of the UL Demko certification, we know that the battery will only charge at a maximum of 25W. Additionally, the Flip6 was seen doing a benchmark on Geekbench, where it was found to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The Camera FV 5 database states that the phone’s primary 50 MP camera has an f/1.8 aperture.
The Galaxy Ring will be available in multiple sizes, spanning from 5 to 12. The milliampere-hour (mAh) of the battery in sizes 5, 6, and 7 is 17 whereas the mAh of the battery in sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11 is 18.5. Within the size 12 will be a 22.5 mAh battery. Bluetooth LE and Bluetooth 5.4 will both be supported by Galaxy Ring.
Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Watch 7 family, and Galaxy Watch Ultra, these two gadgets will go on sale in July.
